Peaceful Sayan Village

The island of Bali is famous for its rich culture of dance, artistry and religious festivity. The cultural center of Bali is widely recognized as the town of Ubud; however, Ubud itself is quite busy and crowded. To be near Ubud and yet in the quietude of a nearby village, with a spectacular view of an enormous river valley can give you the very best of Bali. The village of Sayan is within a 30 minute walk of Ubud and here there is a house you may wish to spend a few days, a few weeks or a few months living in.

Overlooking the beautiful Ayung River Valley is a two bedroom rental house and yoga or art studio space that will inspire you. The location is perfect if you seek beauty as well as quietude and yet close proximity to Ubud. At this house is a friendly staff of two always there to serve your needs.

About The Villa

In this villa are large bedrooms, a large kitchen, a hot water shower and a bathtub. There is also a telephone, a magnificent lanai that overlooks the valley, a finished open walled basement studio space for leading small workshops (up to 25 people practicing Hatha Yoga) or for use as an art studio. We now have a small five foot deep swimming pool that you can jump into from the Yoga studio!

In one bedroom there is a king sized bed, in the other a queen sized bed-- with a large ceiling fan in both. The kitchen is well supplied with all your needs. Wayan Nuadi and Nyoman Widiasih are at the house on a daily basis to cook, clean, wash and help in all ways possible, including help in transportation needs.

Next door to the villa is a beautiful bungalow motel, with breathtaking views, available for $25 or so per night for yoga students or spiritual retreats.
